Wendy Mons Bio & Photo
Wendy Mons is a graduate from the University of Texas with a five-year degree in education, visual impairment, and blindness. She is founder and president of Magnifiers.com, a company, dedicated to the distribution of products and services to the blind and visually impaired. She was instrumental in setting up and running the Emory Low Vision Clinic from 1991-1994. Wendy is also the Executive Director and founder of the Visually Impaired Foundation of Georgia, Inc. (VIFGA), which is a non-profit 501 (c)(3). The mission of VIFGA is “to ensure that all visually impaired Georgians receive the tools and services they need to develop their full potential”. Both companies have been awarded the Federal/State Older Blind Grant for over 20 years.
