GaAER Scholarship

GaAER is pleased to offer limited scholarship assistance of $250 to a Georgia AER member who would like to create a project for their clients/students, would like to purchase low vision or AT, is seeking certifications in the field of blindness through the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation & Education Professional’s (ACVREP), for another purpose related to supporting students/clients.

PURPOSE: “To render all possible support and assistance to the professionals who work in all phases of education and rehabilitation of blind and visually impaired persons of all ages.”

ELIGIBILITY: All GaAER Members are eligible to apply. GaAER encourages professionals new to the field of blindness who are working to obtain certification through ACVREP and those looking to re-certify.
