Each spring the Georgia Chapter of AER holds a two day conference. Due to COVID-19 the annual conference will take place virtually. This year, the conference will be FREE to all Georgia AER members! Write a Professional Article for GaAER Website

If you are an Georgia AER member and are interested in writing a professional article for the GaAER website, please let us know! Accepted articles will be published on our website. You may submit a copy of your article to ACVREP to receive credit! Email your submission to gaaerconference@gaaer.org

The GVEST Mission is to provide educators an opportunity to learn and to share effective practices and strategies specific to the needs of students with visual impairments. GVEST is held annually in October in Macon, Georgia. Due to the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic the October 2020 conference will be spread out over the course of the 2020-2021 school year and take place virtually! Georgia AER TVI Huddle

Join the new Georgia Chapter of AER’s TVI Huddle! A monthly virtual meet up for Teachers of the Visually Impaired who are Georgia AER members to discuss current issues, what’s working and what isn’t, share & brainstorm new strategies and a safe place to support one another in the field! O&M Roundtable Conversations

The GaAER O&M roundtable committee will begin hosting monthly Zoom Calls to bring together practitioners interested in exploring questions and challenges in our field and in our state. Please consider joining the first Zoom call on Thursday, July 30th from 7:00pm-8:15pm. 1.0 Hour of ACVREP CEU's offered for all attendees. The Meeting theme for July will be Strategies for teaching O&M remotely.
